This Melbourne-based consultancy is seeking an experienced Digital Technology Specialist/BIM Manager to join their team and support clients across the Australian architecture and design sector. They are a specialist consultancy partnering with architects, interior designers, and design-led practices to deliver high-quality BIM implementation, project support, and digital transformation services. The team is small, collaborative, and passionate about elevating the way the industry uses technology. As a Digital Technology Specialist, you will be the go-to expert guiding design studios and project teams through best-practice BIM processes. You’ll work across multiple clients and project types, helping improve workflows, build capability, and ensure seamless digital delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop custom scripts, plug-ins, or automation solutions using Python or C# to improve efficiency Develop, maintain, and implement BIM standards, content, and documentation for client studios Provide hands-on BIM project support, modelling oversight, coordination, and QA Lead training sessions, upskilling programs, and one-on-one coaching for designers Support the setup of project templates, Revit families, and workflow optimisation Advise on digital strategy, software adoption, and emerging technologies Troubleshoot technical and workflow challenges across multiple live projects and studios Collaborate with the leadership team to shape the consultancy’s BIM and digital delivery offerings You’re a BIM expert who enjoys Coding and building Revit PlugIns to enhance workflows and working closely with design teams and can translate technical thinking into practical, user-friendly solutions. You thrive in an agile environment and enjoy variety in your work. You will bring: 5 years' experience in Digital Engineering, BIM management, or digital delivery roles Advanced Revit knowledge and a strong understanding of Australian industry standards Experience supporting architectural or interior design studios Coding/scripting capability in Python and/or C# (Dynamo, Revit API, automation tools, etc.) Confidence delivering training and mentoring BIM users at all skill levels Strong problem-solving abilities and an approachable, service-oriented mindset Knowledge of complementary tools (e.g., Navisworks, Enscape, BIM 360/ACC, Dynamo, Grasshopper) Excellent communication skills and a passion for improving digital design processes Why Apply?
