As the Risk Manager - Data and AI, you’ll play a critical first - line risk role, partnering closely with the Data and AI leadership team to embed strong, practical risk management across ART’s data - driven initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Providing first - line risk support to the Data and AI business unit, including the GM and leadership team, aligned to ART’s Risk Management Framework Developing and maintaining the Data and AI risk profile, including ownership of the Business Area Risk Register and key risk indicators Embedding effective risk management practices into the planning and delivery of data and AI initiatives, ensuring risks remain within appetite Supporting the identification, assessment and remediation of incidents, risks, controls and actions, with escalation through appropriate risk forums Establishing and maintaining high-quality risk controls, managing control gaps, and partnering with Line 1 colleagues to evolve controls as business and regulatory needs change Acting as the Business Area lead for audits, regulatory reviews and assurance activities, coordinating evidence and stakeholder engagement Delivering high - quality risk reporting and insights to senior leaders, committees and boards, including APRA-related responses Supporting a strong risk culture through guidance, training and coaching, while collaborating closely with Legal, Compliance, and Line 2 and 3 risk teams This role is a permanent opportunity. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Proven experience in a Line 1 risk management role, ideally within data, AI, technology or digital environments Strong knowledge of enterprise and operational risk frameworks, including risk assessment, controls, mitigation strategies and governance Demonstrated experience embedding risk practices into strategic initiatives, programs or large - scale projects Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, including APRA prudential standards and control assurance processes Experience in risk reporting, incident management, audit coordination and participation in governance forums Knowledge of data protection, privacy regulations and experience conducting or supporting privacy impact assessments Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non - technical teams Ability to work at pace, navigate ambiguity and apply practical judgement in a fast - evolving data and AI environment About Us Our 2.4 million members trust us to take care of over $330 billion in retirement savings.
