I’m recruiting exclusively for a well-established organisation in Mulgrave, seeking an experienced Payroll Officer, on a part-time basis, to join a collaborative and highly supportive HR team. Reporting to a hands-on, knowledgeable Payroll Manager, this role offers genuine flexibility with 4 days per week (1 day working from home, and with flexibility on working hours) This is a role for someone who knows what good looks like in payroll and consistently delivers it. Working alongside a similarly minded dedicated payroll professional, your role will entail; The role End-to-end processing of a fortnightly, award-based national payroll (700 employees) Managing the full employee lifecycle: starters, changes, back pays and terminations Ensuring absolute accuracy and legislative compliance, no shortcuts Checking timesheets to ensure payrolls are accurate every time Handling payroll queries with confidence and professionalism Working closely with line managers and staff to build strong payroll/operations relations Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems About you Circa 5 years’ end-to-end payroll experience Strong multi-award interpretation and compliance knowledge Ideally, you will have had experience working on a national payroll, with varied roster patterns Exceptionally detail-oriented, accuracy is non-negotiable Proactive, switched-on and solutions-focused Confident communicator who enjoys being part of a team Why apply? 4-day working week Hybrid working (1 day WFH) Flexible start and finish times Supportive, collaborative team culture Experienced Payroll Manager who sets you up to succeed Next Steps If this opportunity excites you, we’d love to hear from you!
