This role will see you: recording transactions, compiling and analyzing data, performing audits, assisting with budgets and financial forecasting, computing taxes, and reporting their findings to management and other entities implement and maintain systems, processes and procedures to ensure robust accounting governance and reliable financial information ensuring both direct and indirect taxes are reconciled and paid on time preparation and lodgement of all tax related returns and obligations prepare annual financial statements ready for external audit Expectations It is expected you will hold a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting or Finance or similar and at least 2 years work experience and: be safety focused possess a growth mindset have strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrate strong financial and accounting literacy, with sound knowledge of relevant tax and accounting standards and legislation have advanced Excel skills (including external database queries.
