We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technical Officer to support our expanding operations. Key Responsibilities and Duties Perform on-site technical work, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of systems or equipment in construction or infrastructure projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to assess site conditions and technical requirements. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute tasks efficiently. Monitor project progress on-site to ensure work aligns with engineering plans and quality standards. Identify potential risks or issues and provide timely solutions or recommendations. Maintain and calibrate tools, instruments, and equipment required for field operations. Prepare technical reports, inspection documentation, and progress updates. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. Support project delivery timelines by coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. Manage the logistics of equipment, personnel, and materials needed on-site. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure work clarity and project alignment. Train or guide junior technicians or assistants on proper procedures and safety practices. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualification in telecommunications, electronics, or networking, or work experience, may also be accepted in lieu of qualifications.
