The Office of the Deputy Secretary, Corporate Services are looking for team members with demonstrated project management experience and skills who are keen to be involved in the establishment of the Development Coordination Authority (DCA). This initiative is part of NSW Government’s planning reforms, where we require temporary resources to form the DCA Program Management Office (PMO) to contribute and support the completion of critical milestones in the establishment of the DCA. The role This role leads the end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects that support the establishment of the DCA. You will lead engagement with relevant business experts and working group representatives; establishing, managing and tracking key program milestones and metrics, track MoG activities, risks, issues, work allocation, timeframes and reporting. About you We’re looking for someone who brings strong, hands‑on project management experience and can step confidently into a complex program environment from day one. You’ll be the kind of candidate who can quickly understand the moving parts, use your existing skill set to take control, and drive delivery without needing close direction. If you thrive in fast‑paced settings, communicate clearly, and know how to balance competing priorities while keeping stakeholders aligned, you’ll be a great fit for this role. Key knowledge and experience Experience in the development and implementation of strategy, standards and procedures for resource and schedule management. Experience in detailed level usage and support of a project management platform, particularly within the Microsoft suite of products. Knowledge of project management methodologies including Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall.
