Role Overview As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering a professional and compassionate reception experience. This role blends administrative duties with patient communication and triage support within a private practice that operates under mixed billing. You will work closely with practice managers, clinicians, and healthcare administration staff to maintain smooth clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients, manage appointments, and maintain an efficient front-desk flow. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage email communications professionally. Manage patient records, check-in/check-out processes, and data entry with attention to confidentiality and accuracy. Process payments, handle mixed billing procedures, and issue receipts as required. Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and scheduling changes between clinicians and patients. Assist practice management with administrative tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Skills & Requirements Experience in medical reception, healthcare administration, or a related customer-facing role is preferred.
