About the role: As the Research & Grants Specialist, you will play a key role in demonstrating the impact of PCYC's programs and activities for young people. Working alongside our dedicated, professional staff, you'll provide specialist research and reporting expertise to support our post-award funding requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Crafting high-impact post-award reports that clearly demonstrate PCYC's outcomes and value. Transforming data, evidence and program insights into compelling impact stories that our funders will understand and act upon. Partnering with our program and leadership teams to shape quality reporting that strengthens funding relationships. Using evidence to support continuous improvement in service delivery and reporting accuracy. Contributing to Ministerial/Government briefings, proposals and communication pieces. About you: You're analytical, organised, and confident in your writing, with a genuine passion for making a difference. You can work autonomously, manage deadlines, and engage stakeholders to extract meaningful insight. As well as this, you will possess the following: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are required, with postgraduate, research or master's level qualifications highly desirable. Experience within a tertiary environment, or the not-for-profit/charity sectors will be highly regarded, with demonstrable experience in producing clear, persuasive, evidence-based reports and narratives. Exceptional organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines without losing accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with an ability to obtain relevant data and evidence from staff, stakeholders and participants.
