Your key responsibilities will include: Provide assistance to scientific and technical laboratory staff by operating and maintaining the instruments, equipment and facilities of the laboratory. This includes being involved in such quality actions as instrument and temperature checks. Actively support specimen processing performing specimen reception, registration, storage and disposal including data entry. A large volume of manual handling and management of consumables, including but not limited to hazardous goods. What are we looking for? You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Experience in, or a desire and ability to rapidly acquire knowledge in Anatomical Pathology laboratory duties. Ability to manually handle consumables / stock reagents, including but not limited to bulk hazardous goods.
