Your Opportunity Part of a service focussed credit team and reporting to the Senior Manager – Credit Risk, this role is responsible for evaluation of loans and related approval activities. With a priority focus on business facilities, you will apply your in-depth credit analyst skills to efficiently assess loans of varying complexity and sensitivity across our commercial and retail loan portfolio. This role provides the opportunity to: §Assess business and consumer loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies and legislation Make recommendation to the Credit Risk Management Committee on loans outside delegation Contribute to the overall development of the credit risk management framework, including policy review Work collaboratively with the frontline lending teams as well as the credit administration function to facilitate positive outcomes for our members Assist with coaching of the lenders to improve quality of applications and promote a prudent approach to credit decisioning Your Profile You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of commercial and retail credit risk facilities, with proven experience in a similar role with senior lending delegation. Being a strong communicator, you also have experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels of a mid-sized organisation. A solid, practical understanding of relevant legislation, including consumer and business finance law and conveyancing law will be valuable. You will also have strong analytical skills, particularly dealing in financial analysis of small business lending. A detail focussed individual, you will be proactive and capable of working independently, demonstrating strong organisational skills and time management.
