12 Months Fixed Term Contract role Work Location - SYDNEY only As the Network Engineering Manager, you will oversee the provisioning, installation, and operation of our data and voice communications networks. You will drive long-term policy and strategy planning while managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This role is pivotal in ensuring our infrastructure complies with security policies and meets service level agreements for 24/7 production services. What you will do Manage voice and data networks, including provisioning, installation, upgrading, capacity planning, and performance testing. Undertake long-term policy and strategy planning on standards and service levels for communications networks. Manage relationships with internal staff and external suppliers to ensure the organisation's expectations are met. Oversee the maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of networking infrastructure. Plan, schedule, and implement hardware and software upgrades to agreed standards and within deadlines. Ensure that all areas of responsibility comply with security protocols and other company policies. Maintain communications infrastructure availability in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs). Handle day-to-day operational support and incident management of customer problems and requests. Communicate all system issues effectively to the IT Infrastructure Manager. Participate in an agreed after-hours support capability to facilitate the delivery of 24/7 production services. What experience do you need 10yrs of proven experience in the management of voice and data networks, including provisioning and capacity planning. Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing network hardware and software upgrades. Strong background in incident management and troubleshooting complex network infrastructure issues. Experience ensuring network compliance with security policies and service level agreements. Ability to participate in after-hours support for 24/7 production services. Experience developing long-term policies and strategies for network standards What Could Set You Apart Cloud Certification is strongly preferred.
