Head of Network Infrastructure - Permanent - Circa $180k super - Sydney. This is a pretty cool role for a Sydney CBD business in the event operations / large-scale event environments space. Meaning, were looking for a mastery of Wi-Fi 7, enterprise VPN solutions and hybrid-cloud networking architectures. Working closely with the global CTO, you'll likely have a small team of 2-3 network engineers and oversee the digital backbone that supports global ops and some very demanding operational environments. Were talking secure access for a distributed workforce to managing complex, high-traffic connectivity requirements, whilst making sure all critical services run seamlessly at scale. 4 days in the office in Sydney, with some flex. Probably some travel but not often to sites in WA, VIC, QLD (once a year). Theres officially no after hours/on-call however, we do need someone who understands that they could be the last port of call if theres an outage/issue. From a technical standpoint the key part of this role is to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all network services, including SD-WAN, VPNs and cloud connectivity. No coding. No DevOps/AWS work. You will have likely been a systems/network engineer and have now spent 5 years leading a business/ small team and multi-site operations. You will however work closely with the security team to make sure all network architecture is sound against threats. J-18808-Ljbffr
