About the team: The Risk Governance and Strategy team, within the Risk division, supports the Risk Division in the day-to-day management of governance and assists in the formation, planning and reporting of ASX’s strategy as it relates to the Risk division. Reporting into the Risk Governance Manager, the Senior Risk Governance Officer will support in in delivering and managing a robust governance process which will support the smooth and effective management of ASX’s Risk Management and other Committees/Forums, committees chaired by the ASX CRO and the Risk Leadership team and will support coordination for all management reporting submissions from the Risk Division. The Senior Risk Governance Officer will also support the execution of the risk governance streams as part of the risk transformation program. Primary support for the Risk Governance Manager in maturing risk governance practices within ASX’s Risk Division and across the ASX. Set up and manage the Forward Agenda for the relevant committees and Risk Division reporting requirements. Agenda and pack preparation, including the collation of clear, well written reporting, minutes and papers for Executive, Board and Regulator audiences. Regular review and maintenance of relevant committee Terms of Reference. Manage and report on actions resulting from the relevant committees. Support the execution of risk governance streams as part of risk transformation program. What you will bring: Must have Gained experience in either a company secretariat, committee secretariat and/or risk governance role. Gained experience in working with Executive Leadership or Senior Leadership teams. Demonstrated ability to build strong internal relationships and collaborate and work effectively across teams. Ability to effectively plan and prioritise work, a demonstrated ability to deliver to deadlines and strong attention to detail. Communication skills – excellent oral, written and presentation. Nice to have: Tertiary education or other relevant industry experience. Experience in management of Financial Accountability Regime/Executive Accountability and/or policy governance desirable. Gained experience in the design and implementation of reporting and governance processes. Gained experience in supporting/executing major transformation projects from a governance perspective.
