Your Next Opportunity We’re looking for an all‑rounder Team Member who will primarily support housekeeping while also assisting our front‑of‑house operations when needed at Durack Rentals Reporting to the Community Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our community spaces and facilities to the highest standard, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our residents and guests. Located 14km from Brisbane CBD, Ingenia Rentals Durack offers comfortable and affordable rental living for all ages, located close by to public transport, parks, shops, entertainment venues, and restaurants. This position is casual, with extra hours able to be picked up during peak seasons / part time. Restock supplies such as linen, toiletries, and cleaning products, and ensure all appliances are clean and operational. Monitor and report any damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to the Community Manager, and assist with stocktakes. Support the upkeep of storage and housekeeping areas, ensuring they remain tidy, organised, and well-stocked. Collaborate respectfully with team members and residents, contribute to meetings, and actively support a positive and productive team environment. Step in during busy periods or when coverage is required to welcome residents and visitors, assist with enquiries, answer calls, and provide friendly front‑of‑house service. Support basic booking or admin tasks when the team needs an extra hand, ensuring guests feel informed, supported, and well‑looked‑after at all times. You’re Likely a Match If You Have a strong eye for detail and take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards with minimal supervision. Are well-organised, time-conscious, and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Hold a current “C” class driver’s licence. Are physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and using equipment and chemicals safely with appropriate PPE. Enjoy working as part of a team, contributing positively to a supportive and respectful work environment. You naturally take initiative, offering help before it’s asked for and maintaining a warm, customer‑focused attitude during busy periods or when the team needs an extra hand.
