About the Role We are seeking a passionate and proactive Safety Specialist - Health to join our Corporate Health Programs team based in Brisbane. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of a wide range of corporate health, wellbeing and safety programs that support our military &civil aviation and corporate business units across Australia and New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for a workplace health & safety professional looking to apply their expertise across injury management, health surveillance, occupational hygiene, mental health, and more - all within a dynamic and supportive team environment. What You'll Be Doing As a Safety Specialist - Health, you will: Contribute to the design and delivery of physical and mental health programs across multiple business units and locations. Support key initiatives such as Injury Management, Health Surveillance, Early Intervention programs, and our Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy. Provide informed, evidence-based guidance to stakeholders on health-related risks and opportunities. Collaborate with leaders and managers to embed safety and wellbeing principles into everyday business practices. Assist with psychosocial risk assessments and help implement practical, person-centred risk mitigation and solutions. Manage health service provider relationships and assist in coordinating on-site services such as physiotherapy and health monitoring activities. Support return-to-work and rehabilitation processes in alignment with best practice and legislative requirements. About You To thrive in this role, you'll bring: Experience delivering corporate physical and/or mental health promotions and programs within complex organisations. A background in workplace health, injury management and rehabilitation. A good understanding of WHS best practice and risk management principles A good understanding of the workers compensation process and best practice return to work principles Qualifications in Allied Health, Psychology, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
