About the role and where you will be working: The principle role of the Community Housing Administration Officer is to assist the Property Manager Team Leader to handle daily business operations of all properties within the Southern Cross Housing Ltd portfolio within relevant legal requirements and to provide high quality customer service. This is a permanent full time role located in our central office in Rivervale. This role has the opportunity to work from home one or two days a week, at the discretion of your manager. The position is offering a base salary of $65,000 - $70,000p.a. We’ll also be asking you to: Coordinating and compiling monthly tenancy activity reports for the Property Manager Team Leader Arranging and supporting weekly, fortnightly or monthly meetings, including agendas and minute-taking (team meetings and TAC meetings) Providing administrative support to Team Leader and Housing Officers Taking and responding to tenant enquiries through phone calls and email. Raising maintenance work orders. Supporting communication with external agencies, including Housing Authority, Mental Health Commission and other key stakeholders, as directed Assisting with the collection and collation of tenant feedback and service data for reporting purposes Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements Delivering high-quality customer service to tenants and stakeholders in line with Southern Cross Care WA values About you: To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience in an administration or support role (experience in community housing, real estate or community services is highly regarded) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Confidence using systems, reports and standard office software Well-developed written and verbal communication skills A working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 (WA) (or willingness to learn) This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a busy team and contributing to positive outcomes for tenants Working with us: At Southern Cross Care WA, we are committed to being an employer of choice.
