The Rail Delivery & Safety team The Rail Infrastructure Delivery Office is at the forefront of delivering transformative rail infrastructure across Queensland. As part of our team, you'll be contributing to: Facilitate the delivery of rail safety policies and programs for LGC in line with operational targets. Support the Manager in delivering on a culture of safety first by ensuring compliance to the rail safety planning framework that delivers on corporate strategies and reflects an in-depth knowledge of regional issues, community trends and emerging opportunities. Build and maintain networks and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure positive working relationship to facilitate input from stakeholders in the preparation of high-level advice. Work to deliver on agreed outcomes, model high standards of professionalism and ethical behavior; contribute actively to corporate and divisional goals. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace including compliance with workplace health and safety and employee rehabilitation legislation, codes of practice, standards and departmental policy and procedures. About you Demonstrated extensive experience working on large rail or infrastructure projects and working with relevant workplace health and safety acts, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines and AS/ISO standards. Experience of working with regulatory bodies including the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR), and the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC). Excellent analytical skills and ability to stay informed about safety activities, identify trends and risks in safety issues, and develop proactive strategies for issues management and mitigation. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively plan, implement, and manage safety activities, as well as to provide strategic advice to senior management.
