Our Information Management and Technology department is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst. Purpose: As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will: Support the secure, reliable, and efficient delivery of Council’s IT infrastructure and cyber security operations, including implementing security controls, monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with legislation and standards. About the role: Implement and maintain Council’s cyber security controls across endpoint, network, and cloud environments. Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and respond to incidents in line with Council protocols. Contribute to vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, disaster recovery planning, and ongoing improvement of cyber security policies and procedures. About you: We are looking for someone who brings: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure and managing cyber security operations, including threat monitoring and incident response.
