Our Information Management and Technology department is seeking a Coordinator IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security. Purpose: Lead and coordinate the secure, reliable, and efficient delivery of Council’s IT infrastructure and cyber security operations. This critical role ensures the integrity, availability, and performance of Council’s digital assets while proactively managing cyber risks and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards. About the role: As the leader of the IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security team, you will: Design, implement, and maintain Council’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, databases, CCTV, access control systems, and endpoint devices. Manage and support Council’s end-user computing environment—covering desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals—alongside endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager for device provisioning, compliance, and lifecycle management. Develop and deliver Council’s cyber security strategy, ensuring alignment with recognised frameworks, guidelines, and industry best practices About you: We are looking for someone who brings: Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage complex projects. Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and cyber security leadership. Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, virtualisation, network architecture, and endpoint security.
