Our Mechanical Workshop is seeking Apprentice Plant Mechanic Purpose: To assist the mechanical team in undertaking general maintenance activities to Council's vehicles, plant and equipment while undertaking studies in the relevant vocational area to support technical skills gained on the job as an apprentice. About the role: To perform duties under the supervision of the mechanical staff, while working within a team environment. To work as part of a team to ensure tasks are performed in the best possible way. Maintain a focus on quality customer service that is responsive to the needs of the Council. About you: Undertake vocational learning in the relevant trade's area. Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible manner and part of a team. Be self-motivated and show initiative in the delegated areas of responsibility.
