The Client FAVRIK is one of Australia's leading Korean fashion apparel brand and houses an extensive range of modern fashionwear. They seek an experienced Retail Manager to join their Melbourne retail team. The Role You will have a deep understanding of the modern fashion industry, particularly Korean fashion, and a proven track record in retail management. This role demands a leader who can inspire a team, drive sales, and uphold the exceptional service standards. The annual salary is set at $76,570, depending on experience plus superannuation. Responsibilities Managing stock levels, inventory planning, and coordinating weekly new arrivals Supervising, coaching, and rostering four part-time retail assistants Overseeing visual merchandising, store layout, and product displays to align with brand standards Assisting customers, providing product advice, and handling complaints or escalated service issues Monitoring daily sales performance, maintaining accurate sales records, and performing daily closing procedures Supporting marketing activities through in-store promotions and implementation of pricing strategies Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and store operational policies Producing styling content such as outfit coordination photos and OOTD videos for marketing use, contributing to brand promotion and online engagement Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and luxurious shopping experience for customers. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed sales targets. Maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect the elegance of brand. Manage inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability. Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention. Leading retail operations for all facets of activity including sales, retail execution, operations, compliance and OH&S Requirements Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field Minimum of 24 months of relevant experience in retail management Minimum of 24 months of experience in customer service management overseeing multiple retail outlet setting Must have at least 24 months of experience in managing and leading multiple customer service teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation Minimum of 24 months in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage Minimum of 24 months in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences Minimum of 24 months experience in using retail management systems, POS systems Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication in Korean with suppliers.
