Global Technology Solutions (GTS) at ResMed is a division dedicated to creating innovative, scalable, and secure platforms and services for patients, providers, and people across ResMed. The primary goal of GTS is to accelerate well-being and growth by transforming the core, enabling patient, people, and partner outcomes, and building future-ready operations. The strategy of GTS focuses on aligning goals and promoting collaboration across all organizational areas. This includes fostering shared ownership, developing flexible platforms that can easily scale to meet global demands, and implementing global standards for key processes to ensure efficiency and consistency. The primary role of the Lead Software Solution Architect is to assess and design requirements that embed the technical architecture of the Discovery program in an Agile technology team. The Technical Architect will work closely with the  Technology Architects (network, integration,  and  security ) ,  Business  A nalysts and Product Owners as well as platform teams and external consultants.  SC Discovery is a  strategic phase within the Ignite program  focused on shaping the future of ResMedâs  Supply Chain capabilities . It is not about selecting specific applications yet; rather, it aims to  define the future state architecture, capabilities, and design principles  that will guide  subsequent  delivery phases. This phase ensures alignment between  business strategy and technology enablement , creating a resilient, compliant, and scalable supply chain ecosystem.  Capability Roadmap & Taxonomy  Establish a structured capability taxonomy for supply chain, manufacturing,  logistics , and related domains. This includes areas like Source-to-Receipt, Planning, Quality Management,  Data  & AI .  Architectural North Star  Define a clear target architecture to guide solution  selection  and integration across  program s ( e.g., Network 2030, Enterprise MDM). This involves conceptual application views, integration patterns, and governance models.  Fit-Gap Analysis & Future State Design  Conduct detailed assessments of current processes and systems,  identify  gaps, and outline high-value design decisions for the next five years.  SC Discovery spans multiple streams:  Functional streams and business architecture:  Mapping processes across manufacturing,  logistics , inventory, and quality.  Architectural enablers : Covering ERP, data architecture, observability, security, and automation.  The technical architect oversees all the Architectural / technical enablers and has multiple project functions / team members reporting into this role:  1. Integration Layer  Enterprise Integration Platform  (Oracle Integration Cloud, event-driven architecture).  API Gateway and REST services  for secure,  standardised  connectivity.  Event-driven orchestration  to enable near real-time updates and decoupled systems.  2. Observability & Reliability  Multi-level observability dashboards  for IT and OT systems.  Automated alerting and self-healing mechanisms  to reduce downtime.  Continuity and rollback frameworks  for zero-disruption transitions.  3. Security & Compliance  Role-based access control (RBAC) , encryption, and audit trails.  Cloud validation approach  (CSV aligned with GAMP 5 for SaaS platforms).  Identity hygiene automation  (e.g., automated deactivation of inactive accounts).  4. Planning & Decision Support  Integrated planning platforms  (e.g., o9) with AI-driven insights.  Digital twin and simulation capabilities  for scenario modelling.  Operational intelligence dashboards  for proactive decision-making.  5. IT/OT Enablement  Factory network resilience and segmentation  for automation readiness.  Shop-floor integration patterns  for smart sequencing and remote operations.  6. Custom developed integrations adaptions and integrations   Letâs  talk about Responsibilities.  Be Proactive Self-starter, solution-oriented who can manage own tasks & time.  Be customer-centric, data-driven, quality-focused,  collaborative  & have  a positive attitude.  Drive  integration strategy  using Oracle Integration Cloud, API-first design, and event-driven architecture.  Establish  observability and reliability standards , including dashboards, automated alerts, and continuity plans.  Ensure  security and compliance  for all integrations and SaaS platforms (RBAC, encryption, audit, CSV validation)  Support IT/OT  enablement for factory automation,  network resilience , and smart sequencing.  Collaborate  with  Domain Solution Architects, Business analysts  and  business stakeholders  to  identify  the requirements, define project  scope  and design software solutions.  Work together with MES developers ( .net ) and understand custom developed architecture at  Resmed  Have regular conversations with other tech teams and platforms across ResMed on tech stack  standardisations  and extensions.  Lead the technical strategy - provide technical direction, architectural decisions, and oversight of how and when features will be implemented.  Stay connected to  state-of-the-art  developments, latest trends, and design innovative apps for  Supply  Chain domain.  Understand boundaries, strengths, and weaknesses of as-is application(s) landscape  Ensure solution adheres to enterprise design principles and report to Enterprise Architecture (EA) team  Engage in SC solution discovery phase for custom-built requirements  Design for security, stability,  sustainability  and performance with the help of security and integration architects  Set and  maintain  standards for engineering teams, advocate for code  quality  and create a culture of continuous improvement.  Comprehend end-to-end MES codebase (based  .net ) and be able to code extensions, conduct assessments and support the current  .net  development team.   Letâs  talk about Qualifications and Experience  Required:  Minimum 3 years working in a custom development environment  Minimum 5 years working as a solution architect / technical architect  Working understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working  Experience in working with customers and product owners  Experience in solution enhancement and analysis  Experience with React / NodeJS and Experience with  .net  Experience with AWS and Databases  Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.   Preferred:  Experience with K2  Experience with React / NodeJS and  Experience with Docker, ECS and EKS  TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.  LI-APAC Joining us is more than saying âyesâ to making the world a healthier place.
