Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Stores Person to join our team in Melbourne, VIC . If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard. Your role This role's primary responsibility is to safely assist the Stores and Warehouse team in the daily operation of the aircraft maintenance stores supporting the aircraft engineers onsite. This includes: Ensure unserviceable components are dispatched for repair in a timely manner. Maintain supply of commercial items Maintain accurate Stock control Oversee the shipping and transfer of company tooling between bases Coordinate the movement of stock and freight to meet aircraft schedules Inspection and return of unused parts post maintenance event Demonstrate good decision making and organisation skills The essential requirements We are not looking for just anyone. We are looking for an autonomous, passionate and experienced stores person who/with: Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role, ideally in the aviation industry Knowledge of aviation parts and regulatory compliance (CASA, CAAS) Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) Valid Airside Driving Licence for Melbourne Airport Forklift licence and relevant certifications (preferred) Valid Certificate of Training for DG by Air (Acceptance Group A & F – IATA Category 1 & 6) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment ASIC required or eligibility to obtain Additional qualifications We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Melbourne, VIC before applying.
