Company Description This specialist SMSF firm manages approximately 700 self-managed super funds and is structured to deliver high-quality outcomes through a combination of experienced local leadership and a dedicated offshore processing team. The model allows senior professionals to focus on client relationships, technical oversight, and governance rather than transaction processing. Job Description This role is responsible for a defined portfolio of approximately 250 SMSF clients. You will act as the primary relationship owner for your funds, managing the beginning-to-end lifecycle while leveraging an established offshore team for day-to-day processing. The role is highly client-facing and suited to someone who enjoys accountability, autonomy, and acting as a trusted point of contact. Key responsibilities include: Owning and managing relationships for an allocated portfolio of SMSF clients End-to-end responsibility for fund delivery, including planning, review, and lodgement Direct liaison with clients, the ATO, auditors, and external advisers Reviewing and overseeing work prepared by the offshore team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness Handling exceptions, technical matters, and time-critical items locally Managing workflows, deadlines, and quality outcomes across your portfolio Ensuring services are delivered in a professional, compliant, and commercially efficient manner The core focus of the role is relationship management, accountability, and quality oversight Successful Applicant You will be a commercially minded SMSF professional with: Strong SMSF experience and confidence managing client relationships Solid technical understanding across compliance, pensions, and regulatory obligations Experience reviewing work rather than processing high volumes yourself CA or CPA qualification, or relevant SMSF specialist credentials A professional, client-first communication style This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, accountability, and client engagement , rather than hands-on transactional processing.
