About the role Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager this is a pivotal role at our Hammondville site. This varied role includes maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds and gardens on site; managing contractors; stakeholder engagement and monitoring and managing a budget. This is a full-time permanent position, based at Hammondville. Managing un-scheduled events and respond proactively Communicating with Management and other staff Ensuring Maintenance budget is monitored and managed About You Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action A trade qualification relevant to a Facilities Maintenance or Construction environment At least 3 years demonstrated experience working in a Construction or Facilities Maintenance role A current NSW White card Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex and competing demands, under dynamic time pressures Demonstrated experience in applying initiative and creative problem-solving on the job. Strong computer skills (Excel and Word). Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment, under minimal supervision.
