To learn more, watch the video below. Your opportunity We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Communications Advisor to help support the delivery of targeted communications to farmers. In this role, you will work closely with our regional and Southbank teams to support the delivery of engaging communications for our members and industry stakeholders. Key responsibilities Coordinate the planning and development of regular, relevant, high quality, engaging content for farmer audiences Working with the broader M&C team, coordinate the pipeline, production and distribution of content including case studies, news articles, video content, podcasts Support the delivery of communications plans across a broad range of service areas often having to translate complex information and make recommendations on best practice approaches Develop and amplify farmer stories and thought leadership content to extend reach through owned and industry media channels. Work closely with communications professional across dairying regions and support localisation of priority content development and distribution Coordinate cross‑functional communication campaigns and activities, ensuring content is localised, consistent, and aligned with Dairy Australia’s brand, value proposition and style guidelines. Responsible for the planning, production and promotion of the DairyPod podcast to growth audience and listenership. Assist in managing multiple communications projects and deadlines, helping implement communication plans and development / delivery of content that align national and regional priorities, and contribute to evaluating comms activities effectiveness to improve future initiatives. Manage communication projects with strong ownership, organisation and stakeholder engagement. Evaluate and continuously improve communications, developing campaign reports, analysing performance insights and contributing to improved ways of working across the team. About You You’re an organised, collaborative and detail‑driven communicator with a passion for storytelling and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, can juggle multiple projects confidently, and build strong relationships across teams. Skills & Experience Strong writing and content development skills across long‑form, short‑form, digital and social content. Ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and simplify complex or technical information. Experience planning and delivering communications projects end‑to‑end. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Highly organised, process‑minded and able to manage competing priorities.
