NV1 Cleared - Organisational Change and Communications Manager About the Role This role is responsible for leading organisational change and communications activities within a security and compliance‑focused program. Reporting to the Program Manager, the position does not include direct reports and is based in Australia. It operates under a hybrid working model and requires an NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain one promptly). The role ensures that changes to business processes, security protocols, and compliance requirements are effectively communicated and embedded across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of BIAs for program‑related initiatives. Identify and analyse impacts on business processes, systems, and personnel, and recommend mitigation strategies. Assessing Business Process Impacts Evaluate proposed changes to business processes driven by security or compliance requirements. Map current and future state processes, identify risks, and ensure alignment with program obligations. Change Communication Develop and implement communication strategies to inform stakeholders of upcoming changes, their rationale, and expected outcomes. Tailor messaging for different audiences to ensure clarity and engagement. Program Communications Manage ongoing program communications, including updates on compliance, security awareness, and progress against milestones. Prepare newsletters, intranet content, and briefing materials. Training Design and deliver training to support program‑related changes. Ensure staff understand new processes, compliance obligations, and security protocols. Monitor training effectiveness and update materials as required. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for change and communication matters. Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and Q&A forums to support adoption. Continuous Improvement Gather feedback on change initiatives and communications. Use insights to refine future approaches and enhance program effectiveness. Change Strategy and Planning Develop and maintain an organisational change management strategy aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements. Stakeholder Management Identify, engage, and manage relationships with stakeholders across business units. Ensure their needs and concerns are addressed throughout the change process. Governance and Reporting Support program governance by contributing communication inputs for reports, updates, and executive presentations. Track progress of change initiatives and escalate risks or issues as needed. Risk and Issue Management Identify and manage risks related to organisational change, including resistance, communication gaps, and training needs. Develop mitigation plans and monitor their effectiveness. Process and Documentation Review Coordinate updates to business process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions to reflect program‑driven changes. Ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and compliant with relevant security frameworks. Alignment with Security Frameworks Ensure all change and communication activities align with applicable security and protective policy frameworks. Key Skills Strong experience in organisational change management, ideally within security or compliance‑driven environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences. Proven capability in conducting BIAs and process mapping. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Selection Criteria Essential NV1 security clearance Desirable Experience in security, compliance, or regulated environments. Formal qualifications in change management or communications. Familiarity with business process analysis and risk assessment methodologies. Experience with digital communication platforms and training delivery tools. Experience with tools such as SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
