An established, growth-focused Australian organisation with a global footprint is seeking an experienced Head of Investor Relations & External Communications to lead its engagement with investors, analysts, media and external stakeholders. This is a senior, highly visible role that will act as the voice behind the organisation’s corporate story, ensuring clear, consistent and credible messaging across all external channels. Partnering closely with the CEO, CFO, Board and executive leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the company is understood by the investment community and the broader market. The Role: Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive investor relations and external communications strategies that support long-term growth, protect reputation and strengthen investor confidence. You will serve as the primary point of contact for investors and analysts, oversee market-facing communications, and provide insights drawn from investor sentiment, market intelligence and peer performance to inform strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective investors Act as the primary contact for investor and analyst enquiries Plan and deliver investor events, roadshows, site visits, strategy days and conferences Lead the preparation of investor presentations, market announcements and results communications Manage and analyse investor feedback, sentiment and market consensus Partner with senior leadership to align investor messaging with business strategy Investor Targeting & Market Intelligence Develop strategies to broaden and diversify the investor base Monitor analyst coverage, recommendations and market consensus Track share price performance relative to peers and the broader market Analyse market trends, macroeconomic factors and competitor performance Provide actionable insights to support executive and Board decision-making External Communications & Media Develop and execute a cohesive external communications and media strategy aligned to investor messaging Build and maintain strong relationships with key media and journalists Manage reputational risk and respond to media and market issues as required Oversee the delivery of key external publications such as annual and sustainability reports Support internal communications to ensure employees are informed, engaged and aligned with company performance and direction Financial Reporting & Governance Partner closely with finance to ensure accuracy, transparency and consistency in financial disclosures Support regulatory and governance-related communications, including AGMs Safety & Sustainability Demonstrate leadership in safety, health, environmental and sustainability practices, ensuring communications reflect organisational values and responsibilities About you You are a seasoned investor relations and communications leader with strong credibility in capital markets environments. You bring gravitas, strategic insight and the ability to distil complex financial information into clear, compelling narratives. Key experience & capabilities: Tertiary qualifications in Investor Relations, Communications, Finance or a related discipline Minimum 10 years’ experience in investor relations and/or corporate and financial communications (ASX-listed experience highly regarded) Strong background in equity capital markets and working with analysts and institutional investors Demonstrated experience in ASX announcements, results communications, annual reports and AGMs Exceptional written, presentation and public speaking skills Proven ability to manage media, reputational risk and complex stakeholder issues High level of financial and strategic acumen Strong understanding of ESG and sustainability reporting Confident, composed and effective in high-pressure environments Experience leveraging digital and social platforms for investor and external communications Why join?
