The opportunity - Sydney or Melbourne based Netwealth’s Platform Product function is responsible for the strategic development, maintenance and continuous innovation of our flagship wrap platforms, Super Accelerator and Wealth Accelerator. As Head of Investment Products, you will lead the governance, commercialisation and DDO framework across our investment menus and Netwealth-issued managed investment schemes. This is a high-impact leadership role, pivotal to strengthening our investment product operating model, maintaining clear operational independence, and ensuring our platform continues to deliver industry-leading outcomes in an increasingly regulated environment. Key responsibilities: Lead the end‑to‑end investment product operating model, including governance frameworks, investment onboarding, in‑life product activities, and maintaining clear operational independence while partnering with Investment Governance & Research. Drive execution and continuous uplift of the DDO framework across all investment menus and managed investment schemes, ensuring strong distribution oversight, monitoring, review triggers, and alignment with Legal, Risk & Compliance, the Trustee Office and Operations. Lead commercial negotiations with fund managers to secure sustainable, member‑benefit–aligned arrangements. Coordinate a complex stakeholder ecosystem across Product, Investments, Operations, Distribution, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Technology and external managers, providing accurate governance reporting and proactive risk management to senior leadership and committees. Support strategic growth through disciplined investment menu expansion, prioritisation and commercial execution, ensuring competitive differentiation while maintaining strong governance and member‑outcomes focus. About you You’re a strategic, outcomes-driven leader with the credibility to operate at senior levels and the discipline to build scalable governance in a regulated environment. You bring strong judgement, influence and the ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial outcomes. 8–12 years’ experience in investment product governance, platform product, superannuation, or related financial services. Strong understanding of APRA prudential standards, ASIC (DDO), and superannuation legislation. Demonstrated capability in process design, governance uplift, and regulatory operating model implementation. Experience managing complex conflicts of interest and navigating commercial arrangements. Strong stakeholder influence, communication and executive reporting capabilities. Values-led leader with experience building high-performing teams and fostering governance excellence.
