About the opportunity Join a team of knowledgeable, caring and friendly people, who have their own portfolio but cross train and standardize all work to ensure help is always at hand on tasks are fully covered during absences. Responsible for the provision of centralized billing functions. This role provides support that enables the delivery of high quality aged care administration, including maintenance and month end billing of all fees payable with professionalism and accuracy. Effectively manages enquiries (all forms of communication) from residents, clients, families and their agents in a timely and respectful manner. Collaborates with other team members effectively to provide coordinated customer service to residents/clients and their families. Daily fees maintenance via Medicare Payment Summaries and Service Australia Letters Manual billing and credits on request Review and initial processing of Probate notices Maintain contact information and ensure all information handled as per privacy regulation What you’ll bring You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Able to effectively perform financial and business support functions including basic accounting responsibilities Relevant previous experience in the aged care and home care industry. Understanding of relevant Aged and Home Care industry standards, statutory requirements and regulatory frameworks Understanding of aged care and home care funding models Ability to identify and implement system and process improvements You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
