As an Academic Support Officer, you’ll work within a designated program cluster to coordinate course administration, support course convenors and teaching staff, and ensure accurate, timely information across the student journey. You’ll contribute to process improvements and service innovations that keep our operations responsive and compliant. Within this role you will: Coordinate and manage administrative processes for course development, catalogue entries, course profiles and the timely provision of course information. Provide secretariat support and policy advice to committees, ensuring actions and decisions are communicated and implemented. Apply current University policies, practices and standards to deliver accurate advice and compliant outcomes. Support program and course review, including data collection and analysis of grade trends, course statistics and enhancement strategies. Contribute to student recruitment, orientation and engagement activities, and across a variety of methods including face to face, emails, calls, etc. About you What matters most is your drive to create a brighter future that benefits all. You will also have: Demonstrated high-level organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective systems, processes and procedures and to prioritise competing demands and deadlines. Proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and databases accurately and consistently, with sound analytical skills. Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously. Completion of an Associate Diploma with at least two years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training. What we can offer This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $79,705 - $89,416 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $93,254 - $104,616 per annum.
