What You'll Walk Into: At Retailworld, mornings start with a quick huddle, a strong coffee (if that's your thing) and clear priorities to set you up for the day. This role is suited to experienced retailers who understand how teams, performance and commercial outcomes connect on the shop floor. If you've hired, coached and developed people in a fast moving retail environment, you already bring a skill set that translates strongly into recruitment. You don't need agency recruitment experience, we will take care of that! What matters is your ability to build trust, manage multiple moving parts and stay close to outcomes. Much like retail, your day will be busy, people focused and shaped by pace. Most of your time will be spent speaking with retail leaders about their careers and partnering with brand on roles that are important to their business. The conversations move quickly and priorities shift, so organisation, judgement and follow through are key. The Role: The focus of the role is delivering recruitment outcomes while building long term relationships and you will have continous support and development along the way. You'll manage the recruitment process end to end, from taking a role brief through to finding the perfect retailer for the role. Taking a brief will feel similar to understanding a store's trading needs. Interviewing candidates draws on the same instincts you've used when hiring for your own team. Managing offers requires the same balance of timing, communication and care you'd use when promoting or retaining key staff. You'll work to clear goals and KPIs and manage your desk in a structured way. Pace is important, but so is quality. You'll be supported with training and guidance while being trusted to take ownership of your work. You'll also be part of a team that shares information, supports one another and values doing things properly.
