Strategy Lead Reporting to the COO, this hands on role leads group-wide strategy for a market leading, profitable, high-growth, technology led B2B SaaS company operating across Australia and international markets. This position is best suited to a top-tier strategy consultant (MBB or LEK, Kearney, Oliver Wyman) seeking a senior in-house role with direct exposure to executive leadership, the Board, and investors. As a trusted thought partner to the CEO and COO you will lead the development of a coherent group strategy and ensure it is translated into disciplined execution through planning, capital allocation, and performance management. The role combines strategic framing with hands-on analysis and decision support. Key responsibilities Lead group strategy development and board-level strategy materials Own the strategic planning cadence, including OKRs, budgets, and capital alignment Support inorganic growth, including M&A strategy, target assessment, and investment cases Provide structured, decision-ready insights to the executive team and Board Maintain oversight of enterprise-level risks and escalation processes Background MBB or Tier-1.5 strategy consulting experience strongly preferred Exceptional problem-solving, commercial judgement, and executive communication skills Experience translating strategy into executable priorities in complex organisations Comfortable operating with ambiguity and senior stakeholder scrutiny This is a senior individual-contributor role with a clear mandate to influence direction, priorities, and long-term value creation.
