About the Role: Join a fast‑paced, high‑performing National Credit team and play a key role in managing credit risk, customer relationships and operational performance. NHP is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Officer to support our Shared Services Manager and act as the primary escalation point for credit‑related matters. This is a hands‑on 2IC, leadership role where you’ll work closely with customers, internal stakeholders and our AR team to drive strong financial outcomes. You’ll be part of an 8‑person AR team and work with our Microsoft D365 environment. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary escalation point for credit queries and resolve issues quickly. Review and release customer orders in line with policy. Assess and process new account applications. Manage a small key‑account ledger with accurate reconciliation and timely follow‑up. Build strong relationships with customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders. Contribute to reporting, analysis and credit insights. Support regular credit limit reviews. Manage CreditorWatch, PPSR registrations and ApplyEasy. Collaborate across departments and drive credit outcomes. What You Will Bring 5–10 years’ experience in a senior credit or finance role. Strong people leadership, relationship‑building and influencing skills ( the role may include direct reports). Experience with CreditorWatch and other credit risk tools. Skilled in account reconciliation and resolving customer queries. Proficient in Microsoft D365 and advanced MS Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills. Ability to motivate and support high‑performing teams.
