About the Roles We are currently seeking applications for two roles: 1. Infrastructure Engineer 2. Senior Infrastructure Engineer 1. Infrastructure Engineer - The Infrastructure Engineer will play a vital role in delivering civil infrastructure works, across roads, kerbs, drainage, culverts, pipes, and associated municipal assets. Duties Conduct investigations and provide recommendations, proposals, and cost estimates for drainage, stormwater, roads, kerbs etc. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and utility services Address community concerns regarding drainage and road defects Implement standards and guidelines, including the Infrastructure Design Manual (IDM) Perform site inspections, surveys, and quality assurance for projects Develop Capital Works Projects and prepare technical documentation Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 4 years of experience delivering civil infrastructure works. Membership of Engineers Australia and eligibility for NER registration in Civil Infrastructure. Strong capability across roads, kerbs, drainage, culverts, pipes, and associated municipal assets. Practical knowledge of IDM, surveying processes, estimation techniques, and site inspections. Solid track record in conducting investigations and assessments in drainage-related projects. 2. Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Reporting to the Engineering Services Coordinator, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will lead the Engineering Department, and spearhead major renewal and upgrade programs. Duties Lead civil engineering investigations and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for the Capital Works Program. Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements, Council policies, and Quality System standards. Provide expert advice on optimal design solutions for internal stakeholders. Generate reports to assess performance, prioritise safety, and support decision-making. Prepare documentation for funding bodies and contribute as a subject matter expert in major infrastructure programs. Develop and review project charters, business cases, and other key project documentation. Lead communication and coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal and external stakeholders. Conduct design reviews and provide oversight across traffic, roads, and drainage infrastructure projects.
