About the Role BRG is supporting the Strategic High Frequency Communications Program (SHFC) in sourcing an experienced ILS Officer (Acquisition Lead) – Level 3 to support the delivery and enhancement of the Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS). This role provides specialist Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) expertise across acquisition-phase activities under JP9101PH1 , operating under broad direction to support the ILS Manager and Deputy ILS Manager. The position plays a key role in ensuring ILS deliverables are managed effectively, remain compliant with Defence policy and ASDEFCON requirements, and contribute to successful capability enhancement outcomes. Team Downer MSP Citizenship Declaration required Travel may be required to operational sites Duties & Responsibilities Support and manage ILS-related aspects of JP9101PH1 acquisition activities, including coordination with the Prime Contractor Lead or contribute to ILS working groups and mandated system reviews for acquisition deliverables Review, assess, and provide feedback on ILS acquisition documentation, including ILSPs and associated plans Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving SHFC ILS documentation and standard operating procedures Provide technical and logistical advice to support acquisition planning, risk management, and informed decision-making Liaise with internal Defence stakeholders and external industry partners to ensure alignment with program objectives Maintain accurate records of acquisition deliverables and contribute to reporting requirements Undertake additional tasks as directed by the ILS Manager or Deputy ILS Manager To be Successful, You Will Need Minimum 5 years experience in Integrated Logistics Support, preferably across acquisition and sustainment environments Strong familiarity with the ASDEFCON suite and Defence procurement processes Demonstrated ability to interpret complex contractual and technical requirements and provide actionable recommendations Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills across Defence and industry Ability to work independently under broad direction in a complex program environment If you would like to have a confidential discussion or find out more about this role, please click Apply Now or contact me directly on 0425 654 942 or jessica.beale@businessreviewgroup.com.au .
