Indigeco is supporting a Federal Government client in sourcing APS4 and APS5 Executive Assistants. These contract opportunities offer the chance to work in a high-performing, fast-paced environment, providing professional executive support to Senior Executives within a major Federal Government Department. The opportunities are available for a 12-month initial contract with the potential to extend for an additional 6 months. APS5 Executive Assistant Key Responsibilities Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the First Assistant Secretary and Division staff Manage and coordinate complex diary schedules, including prioritising competing demands and escalating matters of importance Monitor, track, and triage incoming correspondence and documents to ensure actions are progressed within required timeframes Perform front-of-office duties, including meeting room coordination, greeting visitors, and responding to calls and emails Apply initiative and sound judgement when supporting senior leaders, including anticipating needs and resolving issues proactively Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to progress outcomes on behalf of the Executive Key Requirements Proven experience providing executive support to senior leaders in a complex environment Strong judgement, discretion, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage sensitive information Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision High-level written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and reliability Experience using record management systems andthe Microsoft Office suite (desirable) APS4 Executive Assistant Key Responsibilities Provide executive and administrative support to Senior Executives and the broader Division Assist with diary support, meeting coordination, and workflow management across a busy branch environment Support the monitoring and progression of correspondence, documentation, and reporting requirements Undertake moderately complex tasks, including basic research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement as required Respond to enquiries professionally and support front-of-office operations Contribute to a positive team culture through a collaborative and solutions-based approach Key Requirements Demonstrated administrative or executive support experience in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise workload effectively Ability to apply procedures, guidelines, and sound judgement within defined parameters Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team Experience using record management systems (desirable) High levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion If either of these roles sounds interesting, then apply today with your latest resume.
