About the role: Working with a large Outsourced payroll processing team and providing payroll services to our clients through a range of software such as Definitiv payroll application. This is a service and payroll processing position and client communication is both written and vocal, telephone support is required. Day-to-day tasks & responsibilities: Main point of contact for your nominated clients. Prepare employee payment calculations including standard pay, bonus, termination, leave & overtime. Process payrolls within 24 hours of receipt or as agreed with client. Provide clients with payslips and STP reporting within 24 hours of payment or as per legislation. To monitor client communications to ensure they are responded to for general enquiries, special out of cycle payrolls and requests for manual payments. Answer telephone enquiries. Process third party payments such as PAYG to ATO, Child Support, Superannuation, Salary Packaging. Assist in the planning and implementation of legislative changes to payroll that affect clients, such as changes to superannuation, taxation reporting. Assist clients with audit reporting. Assist clients with project work including costing restructure, leave recalculations, superannuation adjustments, update salaries, generate backpays, explain overpayments/underpayments. Assist other team members achieve the daily goals of all payrolls completed and banked on time. Reconcile general ledgers and reports to ensure they balance prior to sending to clients. Ensure client payroll processing notes are maintained. Complete end of financial year reconciliation and provide STP Final Event to client to submit. Your skills and experience might include: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel Attention to detail Willingness to help others Motivated to complete tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication skills What are we all about?
