About the role and where you will be working: This role serves as a professional first point of contact for the Property Section within the Assets & Infrastructure Team at SCCWA. You will play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring all enquiries, issues, and work orders are managed efficiently, proactively progressed, and resolved in line with required Service Level Agreements. You will attend and minute contractor and project meetings, ensuring all contractors remain compliant from an administrative, invoicing, and accreditation perspective. The position also provides high‑level administrative support to the General Manager and Team Leader, Assets & Infrastructure, contributing to the smooth and effective operation of the team. Can be part time for the right applicant Your responsibilities will include: To ensure the effective administrative management of the Assets & Infrastructure business unit as follows: Provide administrative support to the Team Leader and general manager, Assets and infrastructure Accounts Payable experience Previous experience with FMI Works, Beams or other Work Order Management systems General knowledge of WHS and Australian Standards Advance Microsoft Office and general computer package skills Demonstrated Experience in a multi-disciplinary role About you: We will place strong consideration on applicants who bring experience in Building/Facilities Maintenance Administration, Contract Management, and/or Service Delivery To be considered for this role you’ll need: Essential Criteria Demonstrated experience providing high‑level administrative support in a busy, multi‑disciplinary team environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to act as a professional first point of contact Proven ability to manage work orders, track progress, and meet required Service Level Agreements Experience attending, coordinating, and accurately minuting contractor and project meetings Ability to ensure contractor compliance with administrative, invoicing, and accreditation requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new digital systems quickly Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Desirable Criteria Experience working within a property, assets, or infrastructure environment Knowledge of contractor management processes or compliance frameworks Experience supporting senior leaders such as a General Manager or Team Leader Understanding of Aged Care processes and administrative requirements Working with us: At Southern Cross Care (WA), we are committed to being an employer of choice.
