The Impact You’ll Make As a vital member of our Engineering team, you will ensure our production lines never miss a beat by: Mastering the Machinery: Diagnosing and optimising mixers, ovens, slicers, fillers, tray sealers, depositors, freezers. Solving Complex Faults: Using your mechanical knowledge, fault finding skills and experience in machinery, pneumatics and hydraulics to crush the downtime during start-ups, breakdowns and ensuring the reliability of machinery and equipment throughout the site. Driving Reliability: Using MEX to execute precision preventative, planned maintenance and identifying continuous improvement (CI) opportunities to make the plant better every day. Project Involvement: Helping lead the installation and commissioning of new, high-tech plant equipment. What You’ll Bring You are a proactive Fitter who doesn't just wait for a work order—you see a problem and solve it. Trade Qualified: A relevant mechanical trade qualification is essential. FMCG Expertise: Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. System Savvy: Experience with MEX (or similar CMMS) and a focus on reliability. Technical Edge: Knowledge of steam/gas appliances is a huge plus, as are Confined Space, Working at Heights, or EWP tickets.
