The Opportunity: Reporting to the Manager, Research and Development, you will join a diverse group of experienced engineers and scientists to progress research and development projects for new and existing endovascular graft products within the vascular division. You will get to learn and gain experience in a company with a long history of providing quality, innovative products to patients across the globe. Provide a disciplined approach to product development engineering through the application of rigorous engineering and risk management principles. Coordinate research and/or engineering activities for a delegated project and conduct ongoing assessments of the project’s technical risks. Work with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions and solutions. Liaise with the project leader to agree on project priorities and provide regular feedback on progress. Contribute to identification and implementation of strategies for continuous improvement. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Professional Engineering Qualifications essential. Medical/Mechanical Engineering preferred. Similar Engineering experience from a highly regulated industry (Medical Device industry experience preferred). Knowledge and experience in the application of Medical Device Design Controls. Project management skills preferred. Critical thinker – encourage innovation and continuous improvement. Personal accountability with a results-orientated focus.
