As an Information Support Officer you will: - Review relevant documents and make recommendations regarding the release of information in accordance with the relevant Acts and privacy principles.- Undertake and contribute to the day to day operations of the unit by monitoring and prioritising workflow, ensuring accurate information is provided to Family Law courts within agreed deadlines.- Undertake interpretation and application of legislation and policies relating to the release of information for the purpose of ensuring accurate and thorough advice. Ensure decisions are made and recorded in a manner which is clear, concise, and comprehensive and meets clients' needs and is consistent with record keeping policies, legislative and judicial review requirements.- Initiate appropriate consultations and build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders with whom it is necessary to consult about the release of information.- Contribute to the development and recording of procedures in relation to the release of information.- Update, maintain and validate data on departmental information systems ensuring accuracy, completeness, quality and timeliness of output.- Complete tasks and actively contribute at a high level to a culture of client service, excellence and continuous improvement.- Participate in team and office discussions, planning and other relevant projects as required to achieve operational and strategic objectives of the team in accordance with the Departments goals. To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate capability in the areas detailed within the Candidate Information Package.
