POSITION DESCRIPTION - DESKTOP / PROJECT COORDINATOR (x1) Role Title: Desktop Estimator / Project Coordinator Location: Brisbane / SEQ Reports To: Operations Manager / Estimating Manager Employment Type: Full-time Role Purpose Provide internal support across estimating, scheduling and project coordination to ensure smooth workflow and accurate documentation. Act as the administrative engine behind insurance and remedial projects, supporting estimators, site managers and clients. Key Responsibilities Complete desktop estimating for standard insurance repair scopes. Upload and manage job documentation in insurer and internal systems. Schedule trades, inspections and works across multiple projects. Liaise with clients, subcontractors and site staff to coordinate progress. Prepare purchase orders, work orders and job packs. Track project milestones, chase outstanding items and close out files. Assist with variations, updated scopes and reporting. Maintain accurate records, job notes, photos and compliance documents. Support estimators with admin tasks and data required for quotes. Troubleshoot workflow issues and keep jobs moving. Skills & Experience Experience in construction administration, project coordination or insurance building desirable. Strong organisational and multitasking ability. High attention to detail with excellent documentation skills. Confidence working across multiple systems and insurer portals. Good communication skills with customers and trades.
