The EL1 Senior Infrastructure and Network Support Engineer is a senior technical specialist role within the Infrastructure Operations section of the Chief Information Officer Branch at ACIC. This role provides advanced support and guidance across desktop, server, and network environments, ensuring the agency's ICT infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and fit-for-purpose. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively to resolve complex technical issues, contribute to infrastructure uplift initiatives, and support the onboarding and sustainment of bespoke software platforms. Your skills and capabilities We invite applications from people with the following experience, skills and attributes: Advanced Technical Capability: Deep experience supporting enterprise desktop environments, RHEL and Windows Server platforms, and network infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet). Proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues across multiple domains is essential. Infrastructure Uplift and Automation: Experience contributing to infrastructure improvement projects and using automation tools to streamline operations. Service Management Expertise: Strong understanding of ITIL-aligned service management practices, including incident, problem, and change management.
