The Client A well-established, technology-led organisation is looking for an Engineering Manager (Data) to lead and grow its data engineering capability during a period of continued platform and analytics maturity. The Role You will lead a team of 6 data engineers and take ownership of the data platforms that underpin analytics, reporting and data-driven decision making across the business. The role offers a clear 60/40 split between people leadership and hands-on technical contribution, making it ideal for an experienced data leader who still enjoys staying close to the technology. This position has genuine ownership over data architecture, delivery standards and platform reliability, and works closely with analytics, product, marketing and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
