Senior Project Manager – Initial 12-month contract – Hybrid Our client, a highly regarded organisation and part of a world-renowned group, is delivering a major program focused on transforming frontline airport technology and customer journeys across its domestic network. They are seeking an experienced, delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to lead multiple critical technology streams through final rollout, stabilisation and operational transition. This role is hands-on and execution-driven, suited to someone who thrives in complex, operationally critical environments. You will take ownership of several well-progressed initiatives, resolve outstanding issues, manage multi-airport deployments and ensure seamless integration across technology, operations and frontline teams. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Leading end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent airport technology streams across the domestic network. Completing rollout and stabilisation of check-in and gate boarding systems. Delivering new digital Go-Show and Fly-Ahead capabilities, including final testing and controlled release. Managing the deployment of bag tagging kiosks and Automated Bag Drop solutions across major ports. Coordinating complex, multi-site rollouts with minimal operational and customer disruption. Owning integrated schedules, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets across all streams. Managing vendor performance and holding delivery partners accountable for outcomes. Driving operational readiness, training, procedures and change management. Providing clear, concise reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums. Acting as the key interface between technology, airport operations and customer experience teams. The successful candidate’s skills and experience will include but not be limited to the following: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering large, complex operational programs. Strong aviation, airline or airport operational experience (highly preferred). Hands-on experience with airport kiosks, automated bag drop (ABD), check-in or gate boarding platforms. Demonstrated success delivering multi-site, multi-vendor rollouts in time-critical environments. Exceptional stakeholder management skills across frontline, operational and technical teams. A calm, decisive leadership style with strong operational judgement and problem-solving capability. Highly organised, delivery-focused mindset with strong attention to detail. Comfort working on-site in airport environments as required.
