Tell me about this role: We are currently looking for an NV1 cleared Avionics Technical Officer to support Army Aviation’s Cargo Helicopter fleet. You will undertake various technical activities under the Engineering Management System relating to technical changes. What will I be doing day to day? As the Avionics specialist, you will: Be responsible for handling Technical Information, including registration, assessment of applicability, determination of Technical Airworthiness Alert Information (TAAI) status and related actions Support and/or lead technical analyses, deviations, modifications, audits, investigations, and reporting Assess classification of design Manage Aviation Technical Publication Management activities in support of the capability including investigation, draft/review and coordination of publication changes Provide Subject Matter Expert recommendations for Incorporation Approval and Service Release What sort of skills do I need? Demonstrated experience within the Australian Army Aviation Hold or be able to achieve "Logistics Engineer" Engineering Authority Certificate IV or higher Engineering qualification in Avionics/Software maintenance trade Qualifications and experience on one or more Aircraft Type or Systems Manager Courses Australian citizenship with NV1 security clearance and ITAR compliance What’s in it for me?
