As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support which includes providing advice and support on the implementation and administration of BVSC policies, procedures, and the IPR Framework, preparing and editing Directorate InfoCouncil reports, and delivering InfoCouncil training to staff. You will also be responsible for preparing and checking a range of staff forms, claims, and reports prior to submission to the appropriate processing area, while managing and monitoring the Director’s calendar and diary to effectively balance appointments, workload, and customer service demands. About You We are seeking an individual who holds a Certificate III in business administration, local government, legal or similar equivalent qualification and approximately 5 years' work experience in a similar role. You will have the following skills and experience; Working knowledge of Local Government procedures, practices and operational frameworks. Ability to plan and schedule own work and manage small projects. Advanced written and verbal communications skills, including demonstrated business report writing. Sound knowledge of financial management administrative processes. A high level of effective Stakeholder engagement and liaison skills including the ability to deal with difficult and emotional people. Benefits This is a permanent full time position position working 35 hours per week.
