About the Position: Pentarch Logistics division provides portside storage, quality control, measurement and logistics solutions for the export of log and associated wood products within Australia. Looking to build our Casual Pool to support our team based in Eden. You will be involved with a range of duties including the receival and processing of whole log products. You will pick up shifts from 6:00am on a casual basis at our Edrom Road site, to cover leave as well as busy periods. Reporting to the Production Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include: Being responsible for operating various fixed plant equipment. Daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections. Assist and support in maintaining machinery and equipment. Assisting with general production flow. Housekeeping and maintaining/undertaking workplace cleaning as required. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. Inventory management and data entry. About You: Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is highly desirable. Must be reliable and able to work casual shifts. A positive attitude is essential. The ability to work under pressure and multi-task as required. You must be reliable, punctual and have a focus on the quality of your work. Have demonstrated experience of successfully working in a team. We are seeking someone who is physically fit and is able to manually handle various sized timber sections.
