Join a leading Commercial Bonds team as a key administrative support, helping underwriters manage client accounts, bond transactions, and operational processes with accuracy and efficiency. Your Role: Act as the primary contact for brokers and clients, translating their often urgent and complex needs into clear, actionable solutions that keep deals progressing. Review incoming bond requests for completeness and validity. Identify unusual clauses or risk data gaps upfront, resolving issues before underwriting begins. Keep records up to date and ensure smooth filing within internal systems. Take ownership of the bond lifecycle from issuance to release, handling invoicing and variations. Proactively find and fix workflow inefficiencies to manage our scaling book of business. Maintain the integrity of portfolio data and assist with strategic reporting to management, ensuring accurate representation of risk and growth metrics. Provide general administrative and underwriting assistance, ensuring operational standards are consistently met. Ensure compliance and maintain high standards of operational quality. What We’re Looking For: 3–5 years of experience in banking, insurance, or finance administration. Background in legal documents, bank guarantees, or commercial contracts is a strong advantage. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Navigate the nuances of varied bond requests with confidence, using logic and initiative to handle unfamiliar situations independently. Proven track record managing high-volume workflows that require problem-solving and analytical thinking rather than routine data handling. Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
